MEET BRENNE FORST

Brenné Forst is a dancer, performer, choreographer, and educator born and raised in Charlotte, NC., She has been dancing since the age of 5. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Sociology from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Winthrop University. As an educator, Brenne’ has helped provide equitable resources to her school district, such as bringing TapFit, the world’s first slip-on tap shoe so that all schools in her district can introduce Tap Dancing into their curriculum. Ms. Forst is also trained in Dance Therapy specifically for students with different abilities. She is also the proud Dance Team Coach at her current high school, of the Prancing Pumas, who received district recognition for their hard work and crowd-pleasing performances. Ms. Forst aims to provide her students with a well-rounded dance experience by exposing them to all facets of dance: she holds free master classes once a month, inviting dance professionals in the area to teach choreography, has her students participate in dance intensives at surrounding colleges and universities, she holds free dance clinics to help expose students to dance at a professional level, and nominates students to work in dance commercial work outside of school.
